BHUBANESWAR: BJD MP Tathagata Satpathy on Tuesday took a dig at the Centre a day after it told the Supreme Court that it plans to introduce an Aadhaar-like unique identification number for cows to stop their smuggling.
"I support issuing Aadhaar to The Holy Cows. Don't forget Bullocks, Mosquitos & Hindi speaking Black Crows," tweeted Satpathy, who is known to be critical of the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre. This is not the first time he has mocked the central government. The Dhenkanal MP, who is the party's chief whip in Lok Sabha, recently called the Centre's 'lal batti' decision a joke.
