Ahead of the Supreme Court hearing on Aadhaar's validity that is to begin from 17th January, citizens and independent activists protested against the draconian nature of Aadhaar that is being linked by the Government to welfare schemes like access to Ration and Pension.
A single identity card without which a citizen would be completely immobolised. Rethink Aadhaar has organised protests across the country for citizens who are unable to get their very basics like ration and pension with Aadhaar being linked to welfare schemes.
